Quota allocation fee for refrigerants from February 2026

From February 2026 a levy of €3.00 per tonne of CO₂ equivalent will be payable on every quantity of F-gas marketed. The calculation is based on the global warming potential (GWP) of the substance used. Manufacturers and importers are obliged to pay this levy.
